Endorsement: Hugo Soto-Martínez for Los Angeles City Council District 13
The City of Los Angeles Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martínez is running for reelection and needs your vote, for the second consecutive year, for a City Council vacancy. He will hold a special election for aldermanic seat to replace retiring Councilmember Tom LaBonge, who is currently recovering from illness. The district that he is running for is the 13th in the City Council.

Hugo Soto-Martínez has always been active in the community. He led the establishment of the West L.A. Latino Coalition, which helped us achieve our first community health initiative and the first community health plan in Los Angeles County. He is a staunch advocate for affordable housing opportunities for the residents of his district. He is an advocate for women-based community solutions. He has been a tireless advocate for affordable housing, transportation, community safety, affordable workforce development, small business, immigration and labor rights in our communities. Hugo has been steadfast in his advocacy for public safety reforms.
Hugo Soto-Martínez has proven over the years that he will go out of his way to help his neighbors.
