The New York City Marathon takes place each year on Memorial Day weekend, and it’s run through most of the city. There are 15 official starts for this race, and some unofficial ones, too. The marathon race gets better and better as the years go by: last year, the race took three and a half hours to finish.

There is cash prize money for the first place finisher. $100,000 for men and $62,500 for women. To get your own place on that list, you have to finish the race.

If you want to run a half marathon, there’s the New York Half Marathon: $35,000 for the first place finisher, $15,000 for the second, $11,500 for the third, and $3,500 for the fourth.

Running a 3-Miler: $50,000 for the first place finisher, $20,000 for the second, $14,000 for the third, and $4,000 for the fourth.

There is also the New York Road Runners Half Marathon for runners 16 and older. The race takes runners from the start line in Brooklyn to West Point Military Academy in West Point, New York. $50,000 for the first place finisher, $20,000 for the second place finisher, $14,000 for the third place finisher, $3,000 for the fourth place finisher, and $500 for the Fifth Place finisher.

The New York Marathon is an annual event that is very much on the rise; New York is now the site of more marathons than any other city in the United States. According
